Can anyone help me?

Today is Works for me Wednesday, backwards edition. I've never participated before, but when I saw that I got to ask the blogosphere for advice, I had to join in. You see, I have a very serious problem that I have not been able to fix on my own. It's happened to my kids clothing before, and it's not that big of a deal to me. A few weeks ago, my new North Face fleece was victimized. There is a huge gooey stain that can't be missed on the front of it.

Does anyone know how to get sticker goo off of clothing that has gone through the washer and dryer? Please tell me it's possible!

Having 4 kids with a love of stickers I've had my share of this. I use whatever goo gone product I have at the time and get it soaked well. I then use a toothbrush or paper towel to rub the sticker residue off with. Then just throw the item back into laundry rotation!

Goo gone is good but if you're afraid of what it might do, try peanut butter. It's magical!

I heartily agreee. Goo Gone rocks. Even stickers that have been through the wash will come off with that stuff. Trust me on this.

Gotta go with the Goo Gone- it hasn't let me down yet!

I've also successfully used Un-Du. You can find it in the scrapbook section of Walmart or Michael's. It even has a scraper-thingy on the end of the bottle to help you scrape the residue out of your fleece. I've used it on fleece and had excellent results.

Oh, I am so glad you asked this question! My sticker is on my suede jacket, though. Do you think Goo Gone will hurt the suede? I have been afraid to try! I might try the peanut butter too!

Dissolve it is the only thing that worked for me. It even got out grape bubble gum that had been washed/dried into clothes. But it is an oil base and I had to scrub it well to get the dissolve it out.
