After what has been one of the coldest and wettest springs that I can remember, this weekend was perfect. Temperatures in the high 60's. We hardly came inside. When you live in New England, it's easy to forget that you have neighbors...for like five months, you don't see anyone...this weekend we had an impromptu block party. It was great. All the kids played together and the parents shared in watching. Sam had a great time and Brad and I managed to get some yard work done. I filled five leaf bags, and there are more to be filled (can you believe it mom?). Brad hung window boxes and planted some much needed grass...Sam played with everything...Grace lounged...
Home sweet home...new window boxes...flowers to come...new red door, light fixture and number...Brad has become so handy...if you look closely, you can see our Easter Egg trees...tribute to Nanny!Tuesday, April 24, 2007
