Gull Pond

Yesterday was in the 80's so we put on our bathing suits and headed to Gull Pond...My Friends Ann and Hannah came with their kids

For those of you who haven't seen me in a while...that's not me :)

When I was in college we used to run on the trails back here and then strip down for a swim. I never imagined taking my own kids here to play...Oh, how times have changed!

Wonderful weekend

After what has been one of the coldest and wettest springs that I can remember, this weekend was perfect. Temperatures in the high 60's. We hardly came inside. When you live in New England, it's easy to forget that you have neighbors...for like five months, you don't see anyone...this weekend we had an impromptu block party. It was great. All the kids played together and the parents shared in watching. Sam had a great time and Brad and I managed to get some yard work done. I filled five leaf bags, and there are more to be filled (can you believe it mom?). Brad hung window boxes and planted some much needed grass...Sam played with everything...Grace lounged...

Home sweet home...new window boxes...flowers to come...new red door, light fixture and number...Brad has become so handy...if you look closely, you can see our Easter Egg trees...tribute to Nanny!

We bought the T on Saturday morning...after owning it for about 45 minutes, it was held together with duck tape...

Sunny Day

After a week of rain and cold we saw the sun! Sam's friend Skylar and his little brother Tye came over to play.

New Tricks!

Yesterday she tipped over and fell forward..today she can sit! The last picture isn't so great, but it shows how straight she can do it. I only got a few shots before all hell broke loose...Grace tried to grab Sam's train every time it went by...they had their first fight...I ended up with two screaming babies...

We started solids!

Grace had sweet potatoes for dinner tonight. She was very serious and made some great faces, but I think she liked them!
